Events
The Durban Chamber provides you with the right networking opportunities. Some of our most popular networking events are outlined below. If you wish to view our full list of events please select from the options to the left.
Annual Chamber Dinner
The Annual Chamber Dinner is a fantastic networking opportunity where the who’s who of business and government rub shoulders in one of the most prestigious events on the Durban calendar. The Durban Chamber ensures that each year the entertainment and the hospitality at the Annual Dinner is of such a high standard that the event is always the most talked about on the Durban scene.
Coffee Connection
Join our early morning networking session over a mini-breakfast at the Durban Chamber Conference Centre. Bring your brochures, leaflets, handouts and manageable samples for display and sell your product or service.
Discounted Training & Seminars
The Chamber holds many seminars and workshops to assist you with issues relevant to business. These include workshops and presentations on HR/IR training; financial management; health care; access to finance in relation to SMME development and opportunities; education training and much more.
Entrepreneur of the Year
The Durban Chamber/Standard Bank Entrepreneur of the year Awards is held annually and its aim is to recognise and acknowledge the contribution of small and medium sized companies, in order to strengthen and encourage entrepreneurial spirit amongst our members.
The New Member Forum
The Durban Chamber hosts a New Member Forum on a quarterly basis during the course of each year. This Forum is aimed at educating businesses, that have joined the Durban Chamber, about Chambers’ history, people and products. It is also a wonderful networking opportunity for new members to learn more each other and hopefully be a part of some direct business opportunities.
Trade Missions
All planned incoming and outgoing trade missions will be posted in this section. Online application forms will be available for members that wish to join any of these trade delegations. Remember to read the details of each mission carefully as not all of them will be Chamber functions and will require communication with the relevant agencies.
